WINEMAKERS NOTES
The grapes were picked at full ripeness. Fermented dry on the skins. Only 20% of the blend was matured in 4th fill barrels for 4 months. The blend is made up of 50% Shiraz and 50% Merlot. |

2004 vintage. Shiraz and Cabernet
Sauvignon grapes were used. Fermentation was stopped halfway
and spirits were added, therefore stopping the fermentation
and thus leaving half of the original, natural sugars left
over. (Fortification). Matured in oak barrels for 3 years. |
